Released on 4th of May, SAP GUI 7.50 is available to download and install for all SAP Customers. Some of the features of this new version are:
- Ini: The saplogon.ini format is no longer supported as of SAP GUI for Windows 7.60. Since SAP GUI for Windows 7.40 a new connection format (“SAP UI Landscape”) is available. This new format became the default format in SAP GUI for Windows 7.50 and replaces the saplogon.ini format.
- Aug 24, 2018 SAP GUI and BEx Frontend must have the same version (for e.g. SAP GUI 7.40 fits to BI Add-On based on 7.40) Its strongly recommended to use the latest patches of SAP GUI and BEx Frontend. Office 64 BIT versions are NOT supported for BEx tools, see note 1995532.
- Longer lifetime for SAP GUI which is built with Visual Studio 2013
- Selection of colors per client/system with Blue Crystal Theme
- Productive support for SAP Screen Personas 3.0 features
